Christopher Roland Elrod

Christopher was born September 18, 1981 in Floyd County, Georgia son of Willie Roland Elrod, Jr. and Helen Frances “Johnni” Camp Elrod. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and was employed by Elrod Flooring. He enjoyed working, watching football and spending time with his Dad and Family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and great-grandparents.

Survivors include his parents, Roland Elrod, Jr. and Helen F. “Johnni” Elrod; a sister, Susan Breanne Elrod; a nephew, Tate Roland Casey and his grandmother, Charlotte Camp; aunts and uncles also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon September 11th at 1:00 p.m. in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel with rev. Sam Braswell officiating. Interment will follow in the Kingston Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home.

Pallbearers include Tobie Collins, Jarred Collins, Nick Carter, Will Oliver, Tory Holmes and Jerry Hillhouse.
