Matthew was born November 14, 1984 in Floyd County, the son of Cathey and Kevin Price and was a member of Atco Baptist Church. He enjoyed golf, fishing, softball, hunting and loved music.
Surviving are his parents, Cathey and Kevin Price of Kingston, his sister and brother in law, Amber and Chad Pittman of Cartersville, his brother, Michael Price of Atlanta, his nieces and nephews, Brooklyn Pittman, Braden Pittman and Boston Pittman.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 18, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Hamrick officiating.
Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 5:00-9:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Warren, Adam Vineyard, Kip Warren, Darren Stepp, Jacob Pressley and Brett Ingram.
