Dejah Jamie Hawkins

Dejah was always bright and full of life with her giggly and bubbly personality. She could make anyone smile, even on difficult days. Her children loved her so much and always interacted with her through shared activities, playfulness and building strong bonds. It was almost as if Dejah remained a child at heart. Most people that knew Dejah knew her love for her children.

She is survived by her mother, Theresa Knight, step father James Knight, sister Nikki Hawkins Kirk, brother McClain Knight, half brother Devon Hawkins, daughter Peyton Adams, daughter Gracie Bagley, daughter Myia Hawkins son Zane Hawkins, grandparents Judy and Steve Jacobs, aunt Melissa Naiser, uncle Dwayne Roberts, cousins Cindy Shoultz, Ashley Naiser, Davey Godwin, Amber Cole, Amanda Rose, Blake Rose, Brandon Roberts, Brandy Holcomb, Shellie Holcomb, and Dee Harrison.

Dejah’s joy and sense of wonder will remain with those that she loved and those that loved her-a lasting reminder of her light.

Her family thanks all who supported her with prayers and kindness. She can now rest with our Lord.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, begining at 11:00 am with a Celebration of Dejah's Life conducted at 2:00 pm at Owen Funeral Home, at Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Dr, Cartersville, Georgia 30120
