Donnie Lee Gentry

Donnie was born February 17, 1966, in Cartersville, the son of Clyde Gentry and the late, Betty Jo (Mauldin) Gentry, was employed at Carmax and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Penny Gentry of Ft. Myers, formerly of Cartersville, two children, Christopher Lee Gentry and Amber Nicole Gentry, of Ft. Myers, his father, Clyde Gentry and his wife, Liz of Cartersville, brothers, Ricky Gentry, Kenneth Gentry and Steve Gentry and his wife, Natalie, all of Cartersville and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Russell officiating.

Burial will follow in Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 5:00-8:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Sid Pascoe, Jason Panky, Keith Clark, Ed Ayers, Jimmy Smith, David Mauldin, Andy Simpson and Tommy Gentry.
