Dorothy Mae Earwood

Ms. Earwood was born in Cartersville, Georgia on May 12, 1936, daughter of the late Dock Freeman Wiley and Alice Marie Cochran Wiley. She was retired from R.D. Simpson and was a member of Westridge Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Mildred Bohannon and Margie Hart.

She is survived by 4 daughters and sons-in-law, Jean and Jerry Davis of Hampton, Ga., Lois and Noel Cline of Cartersville, Ga., Pamela Moody and Thomas Boucher of Acworth, Ga., and Marie Flowers of Calhoun, Ga., 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy Pilgrim of Calhoun, Ga., Frank and Lisa Pilgrim of Hampton, Ga., Jack and Polly Moody of Cartersville, Ga., 15 Grandchildren and 30 Great-Grandchildren, 4 sisters, Mary Duke of Sherwood, Ohio, Ethel Waldron of Jefferson, Ga., Frances Hall of Dacula, Ga., and Ellen Smith of Moultrie, Ga., 1 brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Ruth Wiley of Cartersville, Ga., and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 20, 2012, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Dr. Bill Brannon officiating.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 3:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Owen Funeral Home.
