

Although Beth was born in Cumming, GA, she moved with her family into her beloved home in Euharlee when she was two weeks old. She began her love of pets immediately thereafter.
Beth will be dearly missed by so many people in her community who have loved, supported and cheered her on. Her loss is especially felt by her former teachers and staff at Euharlee Elementary, her current teachers, and staff at Woodland Middle School, her awesome former and current homebound teachers, Melissa & Co. Salon, Euharlee Seniors, Euharlee Garden Club, City of Cartersville Garage, City of Cartersville Fire Department, District 6 Department of Transportation, her nurses and doctors at Aflac Cancer Center, Dr. Thomas Ryan and staff of Cartersville Pediatrics, and finally all her caregivers at Harbor Grace Hospice.
Beth is survived and celebrated by her parents, Michael and Melissa Wesley; her oldest sister Sharon Aline, her twin sister Rebecca Leilani, and her brother Garrett Stephens; grandparents Elizabeth King (Ronald)of Euharlee, Jerry and MaryAnn McCoy of Canton, Jim and Shirley Wesley of Taylorsville; great grandmother Aline Garrett (Leonard) of Canton; aunts and uncles Shane and Sheryl Mahaffey, Steve King, Fred and Amanda Corbin, Kathy Wesley, Jason Wesley, Justin Wesley and Jeffrey Wesley; cousins Anna, Trevor, and Emma, Brandon, Hayley and Taylor, Kevin and Logan; nephew Coltan and niece Lexi Ann; numerous great aunts, uncles, and second cousins; adopted grandmother, Anne Johnson of Euharlee and her best friends Katie Burch, Maddie Love, and Natalie St. John.
Beth and her family are members of Sam Jones Memorial UMC of Cartersville. Beth was a member of the Euharlee Elementary and Woodland Middle School Chorus and formerly of Euharlee Elementary Drama Club. When in good health, she had enjoyed her years as a Girl Scout and a Musical Theater student at Steps of Faith. She played softball for the Bartow County Recreation Department to prove that a girl with one hand has game, she climbed a rock wall because someone told her she couldn't do it, she attended summer camp at Camp Sunshine for two years while on chemotherapy and she volunteered at the Etowah Valley Humane Society for a little while before her health would not allow it, where she fell in love with a gentle giant, Sir Lancelot, and hoped he found a home.
Beth was a creative girl who loved fashion and purses. She loved to draw, paint, and do ceramics. Her family is blessed to have so many of her creations to cherish.
Pallbearers will be Stacy Banks, Billy Thomason, Steve King, Fred Corbin, Shane Mahaffey, and Willie Martinez.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Sam Jones United Methodist Church with Rev. Nena Jones and Rev. Kevin Lobello officiating.
Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
