Harold Davis

Harold Davis, 95, of Cartersville, GA passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Davis was born to the late Mr. Homer Lee Davis and Myrtle Farmer Davis in Gainesville, GA, December 4, 1921.

Mr. Davis was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church for many years, and was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific.

Mr. Davis is preceded in death by his parents, wife of 67 years, Vera Smith Davis and brother, Ralph Davis.

He is survived by his daughter, Joyce(Lamar) Brock, grandson, Chuck Bohannon, granddaughters; Dana (Jon) Lebkisher, Haley Brock and Erin (Doug) Morrison, great grandchildren; Harlee Roland, Cole and Reed Bohannon, Harrison Heath, Owen and Ethan Lebkisher; great-great-grandson; Jakob Dolan, sister-in-law, Mattie Lois Davis. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services for Mr. Davis will be conducted at one o'clock in the afternoon Saturday, September 30, 2017, in the Chapel of Owen Funeral Home. Services will be officiated by Rev.Clinton Green. Serving as pallbearers will be: Jon Lebkisher, Doug Morrison, Chuck Bohannon, Cole Bohannon, Reed Bohannon and Robert Davis. Burial will follow the service at Sunset Memory Gardens, Cartersville, GA.

The family invited friends to a visitation to be held at Owen Funeral Home Saturday, September 30, 2017 from eleven o'clock in the morning until the service hour.

The family request that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to Pine Grove Baptist Church.
