Mrs. Zmich was born June 4, 1926, the daughter of the late, Jan and Bertha Kasprzak, was a homemaker and a member of St. Francis Church of the Assisi.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Howard Joseph Zmich.
Surviving are her children, Stephanie Maurer and her husband, Tom of Calhoun, Nancy Avello and her husband, Charles of Cartersville, Christopher Zmich and his wife, Carol of Menifee, California, Thomas Zmich and his wife, Janet of Flushing, New York, seven grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, a sister, Irene Ehrhardt and her husband, Charlie of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin and nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Monday, November 10, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
