Horace Allman "Benny" Andrews, Jr.,69, of Cartersville, GA passed away Sunday, October 18, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. Benny was Born on November 16, 1950 to the late Mr. Horace Allman Andrews, Sr. and Mrs. Carldean Reed Andrews in Norcross, GA.

Benny loved football, racing, and traveling to the mountains. His favorite football team was Clemson "Go Tigers". Benny served his community as a lieutenant , badge 940, for the Norcross Police Department for over ten years. Benny loved his fur babies, Tiny and Briley. He will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Mark Ewart.

Benny is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Sheryl Baine Andrews, sister, Peggy (Micky) Phillips of Norcross, GA. Nieces and nephews also survive to cherish Benny's memory.

A celebration of Benny's life will be conducted in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at eleven o'clock in the morning with the Rev. Junior Williams officiating. Interment will follow the service at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be: Nathan, John and Matt Baines, Eric Everett, Zachary and Matthew Good.

The family will receive friends at Owen Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 from five o'clock in the evening until eight.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for medical expenses.

Such a very special friend to me. I had the pleasure of knowing this wonderful man and his sweet wife for the last 6+ years. I adopted him as my grandpa. He was truly a blessing to me. Over the years he has made me laugh and made me cry. I'm thankful that he is resting now. Gone but never ever forgotten. Hugs Sheryl!!
