James Lovinggood

Mr. James A. Lovinggood, 75, of Cartersville, GA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 12, 2020. James was born in Charleston, SC to the late Mr. Arthur Lovinggood and Mrs. Ollie Mills Lovinggood on September 3, 1944.

James was a loving father, and grandfather. He loved his furbabies, Jasper and Ryder. James worked as a sheet metal worker for Local 85 for over 30 years. He also served his country in the United States Army. He loved to be outdoors hunting, fishing and riding his Harley. In his later years, James' world revolved around being Papa to his five grandchildren. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

James is preceded in death by his parents, and sisters; Bobbie Goodman and Susie Hansard.

He is survived by his daughter, Misty (Gary) Bain, son, Shannon (Cyndi) Lovinggood, grandchildren; Caitlin and Carlie Boyd, Kaylee Carter and Ryan Lovinggood.

A graveside service for James will be conducted on Friday, August 14, 2020 at Sunset Memory Gardens at eleven o'clock in the morning. A Celebration of James' life will be conducted at a later date.
