John Ralph Collins

Mr. Collins was born October 2, 1928 in Houston, Texas, the son of the late, Noncy and Fred Collins.

Mr. Collins was a Graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri and was a U.S. Army Veteran with the 82nd Air Bourne. He enjoyed reading, Listening to music, coaching recreation games with his sons when they were young, hunting, fishing and woodworking.

He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Collins of Cartersville, daughters, Kathleen Collins Chrisman (Edward) of Atlanta, Amy Collins Spanjers (Raymond) of North Carolina, Molly Jean Collins of Cartersville, sons, Lloyd Patrick Collins of Cleveland, Georgia, Joseph Michael Collins of Cartersville and a sister, Martha Jean Jensen of Alton, Illinois.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Julie Jensen officiating.

The family will receive friends Tuesday in the church fellowship hall from 12:00noon until 1:45p.m.

In lieu of flowers donations made be made to the Deacons Fund at First Presbyterian Church.
