Joyce was a wonderful loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She learned as a young girl how to do woodworking from her father. During her life, she worked as a homemaker, cashier, hairdresser, babysitter, chef for a 5-star restaurant, rental car agent, and then as a civil service employee for the Navy as a bowling alley cook/repair attendant, fitness center attendant, hobby shop mechanic, and boat mechanic at the Navy Lake site. Joyce loved to spend her free time with her family or working on a project. There was nothing Joyce could not do or learn how to do. She was always available to help out a neighbor when they were in need. She was a strong caring woman who taught her family the skills that she learned through her life. Her ability to light up a room will be missed by all who knew her. Joyce always said that “If a man built it, I can fix it”.
Joyce is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Warrell.
