

Judy Alicia Ginn, 63, of 12 Antebellum Court, Cartersville went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 7, 2010 at her residence after an extended illness. Born on March 14, 1947, she was a lifelong resident of Cartersville and was the daughter of the late Jesse and Maggie Abernathy Thacker.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Larry Ginn, her children and spouses, Larry Jr. and Joan Ginn, Lori King, and Jeffrey and Stacey Ginn, her grandchildren, Amber and Danielle Ginn, Josh and Jesse King, and Kayla and Matthew Ginn, her great-grandchildren, Noah and Tyler Duggar, all of Cartersville, her sisters and brothers, Doris Pope, of Rome, Mozell Pope, of Talking Rock, Edna Hite, of Woodstock, Jesse Thacker, of Rome, and Jean Jefferson, Vernon Thacker, and Jerry Thacker, all of Cartersville, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 P.M. Wednesday, June 9, 2010 from the Chapel of the Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Edwards and Rev. Lawson Overton officiating. Interment services will be held at the Georgia National Cemetery at 2:30 P.M. Wednesday.
Pallbearers will be Rick Sullins, Danny Ray Hite, Terry Hite, Jo Harrison, Danny Fisher, and Britt Earwood. It is requested by the family that the pallbearers be at the chapel by 12:00 Noon.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 till 9:00 P.M. Tuesday.
