Mr. Baker was born June 26, 1954 in Vidor, Texas son of Tommy Baker and Bessie Baker. He was a retired restaurant owner and was preceded in death by a sister, Laura Baker and grandchildren, Christian Pettit and Aaron Cromer.
Family includes his wife, Patricia B. Baker; children, Eric Cromer, Teresa Rector (Jimmie), Ben Baker, Lester (Bug) Baker, Jr. (Autumn), Lester Robert Baker; parents, Tommy Baker and Bessie Baker; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters; 3 brothers; brother-in-law, William Evans; a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
