

Mrs. Lipscomb was born in Cartersville, GA on September 18, 1940, daughter of the late Roy Monroe and Ethel Wilson Monroe.
Mrs. Lipscomb retired from the Bartow County School system after thirty-five years of dedicated employment. After her retirement from the school system, she continued to work for Cartersville City schools as a substitute teacher. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafts, reading, traveling, camping in the mountains and trail riding. The light of her life was spending quality time with her family. She attended Wofford's Crossroads Baptist Church in White, GA.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. Lipscomb; daughter, Robin Jane Lipscomb.
Survivors include her children, Shawn (Beth) Lipscomb, Caitlin Lipscomb and Skyler (Anna) Lipscomb; grandchildren, Miles (Cassidy) Lipscomb, April Lipscomb, Trinity Lipscomb, Emma Lipscomb, Abigail Lipscomb, Aspen Riley Collum, Bristol Collum, Aspen Lee Lipscomb and Amily LulaJane Lipscomb; great-granddaughter, Aubrey Lipscomb; brother, Tony (Jane) Monroe; nephews, Jeff, John and Jason Monroe.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at one o'clock in the afternoon on Monday, the 18th of July, 2022 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Wilson officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Wofford's Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery.
