Martha Ann Graves

Martha is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, William Ernest “Moppy” Graves, Sr.; parents, Edgar and Gladys Flowers; brothers, Edgar E. Flowers, John Flowers, and Joel Flowers; sisters-in-law, Shirley Flowers and Mildred Flowers; and brother-in-law Rodney Sweat. She is survived by her children, Jill (Larry) Wood, William “Bill” Graves, Jr.; grandchildren, Conner Wood (Brandon Williams), Chelsea Graves, and Will (Andi) Graves; great grand child Guerrin Graves; sister, Mary Kate Sweat; brother Milton Flowers; and sisters-in-law Fredda Flowers and Joyce Flowers, many nieces and nephews along with other family and friends.

Martha was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Atco Baptist Church where she participated in the Meals on Wheels ministry. Her cooking was adored by everyone, and she devoted her life to taking care of her family.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Martha’s caregivers, Fredda Flowers and the nurses at Tapestry Hospice.

A Graveside Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, April 14, 2025 at Sunset Memory Gardens with Rev. Kenny Jacobs officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 14, 2025 from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm at Owen Funeral Home. Brandon Williams, Will Graves, Andy Flowers, Eddie Flowers, Steven Flowers and Ronnie Messer will be serving as pallbearers.
