Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Mitchel, parents, Elder, Willie Howell and Dovie Howell; sister and brother-in-law, Faye (Robert) Mitchell; daughter-in-law, Amanda Mitchell. She is survived by her sons, Todd Mitchell, Chad (Sheri) Mitchell, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with pastor Marty Smith officiating. The interment will follow at Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 9, 2025 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
