Max is preceded in death by his wife Betty Cochran Gray; sister, Hazel Cothran; brother, James Gray, Claude ‘Ernie’ Gray and Clinton ‘Bodie’ Gray. He is survived by his daughters, Dianne Johnson, Velinda (Bobby) Bruno; grandchildren, Ben Johnson, Nicholas Bruno; brother Wendell (Debra) Gray; sisters, Carolyn Law, Joyce Baker, Glenda (Terry) Martin; several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Pine Log United Methodist Church Cemetery with Ronnie Cowart officiating, the grandsons and nephew’s will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 12:30 until 1:30pm.
