

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jean Reynolds; his sister, Elaine Langley; and his brothers, Robert Reynolds, Glenn Reynolds and Henry McCoy.
Wayne is survived by his daughter, Michelle Parker (Michael); his sons, Christopher Reynolds and Jeffrey Reynolds (Patricia); and his grandchildren, Dalton Reynolds (Haley Darr), Kylie Parker (Caiden Swinks), Brayden Reynolds (Sam Rosales), Cliffton Parker, Coleton Parker, Brylon Reynolds, and Jamison “Jack” Reynolds. He also leaves behind his cherished great-granddaughters, Ellie Kate Reynolds and Addie Jean Swinks.
Wayne was a proud retiree of the City of Cartersville Public Works Department. He will be remembered for his kindness, his unwavering love for his family, and his joy in the simple pleasures—especially fishing.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, beginning at 12:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 PM with Rev. David Summey and Bro. Tim Reynolds officiating at Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, GA 30120.
Honoring Wayne as pallbearers are Dewayne Langley, Andrew Whitfield, Brandon Berrong, Ty Ashworth, Jordan Vinall, and Joseph Overby, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kyle Westerman, Brandon Langley, and grandsons.
Wayne has “Gone Fishin’,” leaving behind cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
