Mireille Colette Holland

Born December 3, 1931 in LaRochelle, France, she was the daughter of Paul and Georgette Renault, also of LaRochelle, France. Mireille "Millie" Holland lived in Cartersville since 1970.

Millie "Smiley" was a member of St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Millie loved cooking but even more, she loved to knit and crochet.

Millie is survived by her four children, Jacqueline Grimm, Paul Garland, Cathie Bunch, and Carole Massey. Millie has nine grandchildren: Vicki Salzman, Nathaniel Dodge, Daniel Dodge, Christian Dodge, Michelle Garland Rudy, Nikki Pollex, Selina Christopher, Taylor Massey, and Lauren Massey, and also 15 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm, Thursday, June 5 at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church at 850 Douthit Ferry Road, Cartersville, Georgia. The Committal Service will be held at 10:00 am, on Tuesday, June 10 at Mt Pleasant Cemetery, 550 Mt Pleasant Rd, Fairmount, GA 30139.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital a cause close to Millie's heart.
