It has been a little over 6 months since you left this Earth…. We are all still numb in disbelief! I sometimes wake up in the morning and think of a memory we shared and try to smile! I know you are no longer in pain and you were reunited with so many that had gone on ahead… I miss you everyday and will love you forever little Brother- until we meet again……..❤️🌺

My Brother Pat and I were always finding a way to get into trouble. We had so many great times together….. it has been several months now since his passing and I still have to remind myself he is in Heaven… several times I have picked up the phone to call him….. makes me so sad to know he is gone and for all the things he will miss like his Sons getting married, having Grandchildren , growing older with the love of his Life!!!!! Oh how I wish things had turned out differently for all of us… I miss you Pat with all my heart ♥️ 💔

It has taken me a “minute” to be able to post this, as Patrick’s homegoing has hit me harder than I ever imagined.
My heart is broken, as Patrick was my baby brother.  I know his health problems was more than he could withstand. Therefore , I had to let him go. 
He loved his wife of 26 years, with all his heart . They were a match made in Heaven. He loved his son’s more than life itself.  I pray for them daily.
U will be missed , that’s for sure. I’ll see u again one day.  Your loving sister , Susan

Patrick was an incredible family friend and was like a second father when I was growing up. He always knew how to have a good time, would do anything for anyone, and taught me a lot about becoming a good young man. I was incredibly lucky to have had numerous memories with Patrick. 

My friend, my brother, my fishing and hunting buddy. Coaching our kids baseball together, holiday celebrations together. Family. My heart is broken at the lost of Patrick. We will always have great memories of the great times we had together. All the shenanigan's, tricks and jokes. Patrick always had a great sense of humor and  maintained a sneaky youthfulness that would sneak up on you to create some hilarious moment. I was always impressed by the love he had for his family. That always came first with Patrick. He loved his wife dearly and his boys were his pride and joy. Dedicated husband, coach, husband and trustworthy friend. Patrick, although younger than myself,  was old school, he believed in raising his boys to love and respect each other, their parents, God and to treat others as they would want to be treated. Always putting others before yourself was always Patrick's approach.   I could write a book about all the great times we had together, all the things I learned from Patrick and how he forever impacted my life. You will be dearly missed my friend. God speed to you and looking forward to slaying some lunkers on the other side with you. Love you and will miss you my brother!

Today we said “I’ll see you later” to my cousin Patrick Thompson. He was more than a cousin, he was my friend who was like an older brother. Always willing to give his advice and opinions. He loved to talk to people. We would talk about hunting or fishing or even what tom had thrown on the smoker recently. He even helped me find the perfect pair of hunting boots last season. Once I said “oh, I didn’t know you liked to hunt!” And that led to a 5 hour phone conversation that drained my phone battery. He was passionate about the outdoors. He loved his family and extended family fiercely. He invested in his relationship with me and tom. Always texting, calling or sending funny jokes or snap chats. He and tom were two peas in a pod. He would say ”what’s my bromance Tom doing?”, “has he cooked anything good lately?”, “I see he got a truck like mine. They say copying people is the best form of flattery. He just had to be like me.” They could go toe to toe trash talking each other’s turkeys at thanksgiving (all in good fun or course). He had such a big personality, being funny or mischievous. Always there to put a smile on my face. If you missed a Hadley family reunion you could bet money he would make sure to give you a call as to why you didn’t show up. And your explanation better be a good one. He gave the biggest and best hugs, always with a “I love you little cuz” and kiss on the top of my head. Today just didn’t seem right with all of the family gathered and he wasn’t there. It was like I was still waiting for him to walk in. He has left a huge void in the lives of many people. I will always, always miss him greatly but I know one day I’ll get to see him again. 

So very sorry for Patrick, he was a very special Guy, I’m so saddened and will be keeping the family in my thoughts and prayers

I had the Joy of meeting Pat because his Beloved Sister, Patricia and I were best friends in the 8th grade. I enjoyed visiting in the Thompson's home many times.
What a wonderful man Pat was and he  was Cherished by his family and everyone that knew him


Patrick was a wonderful  man,and will be missed by so many. Rest easy we will see you on the other side 🙏 ❤ 

Patrick.  I was so very sorry to hear about your passing.  I do know that you are free from pain and completely healed now enjoying the peace and beauty of heaven.  You will always hold a special place in my heart for being good to Jacob when he came to your house.  I will always remember you by the love you have shown to your family in so many ways. Like the lengths you would go to for getting gifts to Michelle, to the amazing trips you would take with your family and the ones with  your  boys .  .  ❤️Please give Jacob a great big hug for me and tell him how very much I miss him! ❤️

Nobody didn’t love Patrick! He was a great guy,  great friend, and great family man, and fun to be around. He diligently researched and published  “One Day Too Many” about our Uncle Leighton Hadley,  Patrick’s oldest son’s namesake, who died just before WWII was over after surviving D-Day.  Patrick will be greatly missed! May God hold Michelle, Leighton & Griffin close as they walk through this valley of grief. The LORD called his name—Patrick Hays Thompson, Jr— to come Home to Glory, a place where there is no pain, no sorrow, and no scars except for the hands of Jesus! We love you, cuz.❤️. 

My Brother was a funny, intelligent generous Man who loved his Sons and wife Michelle with all his heart. He has been through so much Medical stuff- he fought as hard as he could but in the end Covid 19 took him from us! I have been numb for several days trying to figure out how life will be without him….. I am so lost and heartbroken 💔 I will miss him so much…..I will always love you Baby Brother…..until we meet  again!!!
