Phillip E. Myers

He was most recently living at Canterfield of Kennesaw. Previously, Phillip lived in Cartersville, GA for 17 years. He is survived by his son Greg (Kelly), daughter Laura (Craig), daughter Karen (Rodney), 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, and sister Mollie Lynn Spencer of San Angelo, TX. He is preceded in death by his parents Talmadge and Allie Mae Myers of Texarkana, TX.

After ending his professional career in Pharmacology, he was very involved in his hobbies of horses, painting, the John Birch Society and as a docent at the Booth Museum of Western Art. He developed great friendships in pursuit of these activities as well as his last 18 months at Canterfield in Kennesaw.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1pm on Wednesday, January 10, 2023 at Owen Funeral Home in Cartersville, GA with visitation one hour prior to service. Interment services immediately following at Oak Hill Cemetery.
