

Mr. Jordan was born January 14, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois son of the late Albert Jordan and Charlotte Kendal Jordan.
Mr. Jordan proudly served his country in the United States Army and served as President of Protex industries. Richard was a man who had an absolute zest for life and enjoyed living it to the fullest. He had the innate ability to sit and talk with anyone. He was an avid photographer who began traveling the country in 1979 to photograph airplanes and has since, personally taken a photograph of every make and model of airplane that was ever manufactured. He has one of the largest collections of aircraft photographs in the world. He also enjoyed constructing and painting model airplanes. He tinkered with Milwaukee Rd model trains and had quite an extensive collection. Richard was an excellent salesman and also enjoyed spending his spare time dancing with friends. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.
Mr. Jordan is preceded in death by his wife Julie Lindeman Jordan.
Survivors include his nephew, Kenneth Jordan of Illinois; niece, Stephanie Lutz of Texas; and step nieces, Cheryl Prewitt of Texas, and Lisa Alcorn of Florida.
