

Richard was born in New York, New York to Sidney and Helene Reich. He grew up in Rochester, New York and attended Allendale School. He served in Vietnam in 1968 to 1969 before moving to Miami, Florida and attending Miami-Dade College where he met the love of his life, Janet Hale, who he affectionally referred to as Red.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Helene Reich, his brother Joel Reich, sister-in-law Marilyn, and his identical twin brother Robert Reich.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Janet, his daughters, Kellie Reich and Sindy Ciavarro and his favorite son-in-law Joe Ciavarro, his grandchildren Tessa and Domenic Ciavarro, his siblings Norman Reich of Rochester, NY (Judie) and Carole Chase of Weston, Florida (Alan) and many nieces and nephews.
Richard was a devoted husband, father and Popi. The greatest joy in his life was his family. He enjoyed problem solving computer technical issues and was referred to as his families personal “geek squad.”
Before retiring in 2015, Richard provided IT services as a project manager for several well-known telecommunication companies.
A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date and an internment will be at Georgia Memorial Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.
