Robert Lee Springer

Bob was born on February 27, 1938 in Chattanooga, TN, son of the late Obed Joy Springer and Lucille Huskey Springer.

Bob was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved spending time tending to his flower gardens. He enjoyed working with his hands woodworking and building furniture. He was a true and faithful servant of the Lord and a proud and active member of Rowland Springs Baptist church. He was very proud to be a member of the Young at Heart Sunday School class. The joy of his life was spending quality time with his family and especially being "Pop Pop" to his grandchildren.

Bob is preceded in death by his son Michael Shane Springer.

Survivors include his loving wife of sixty years, Mary Jo Hart Springer; son, Bobby (Angela) Springer; grandchildren, Ruthie and Rob Springer.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at two o'clock in the afternoon on Thursday, the 12th of August, 2021 at Rowland Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Ringwalt officiating.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family for one hour prior to service time at the church.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Bob's honor to the Rowland Springs Elevator Fund.
