Mrs. McCrary was born April 17, 1923, in Hendersonville, N.C,, the daughter of the late Robert and Muthus Launa Bain McDowell, was retired after 30 years from Dupont, was a member of the DAR and a member of Crab Creek Baptist Church in Hendersonville, N.C.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dale L. McCrary; a twin brother, Robert McDowell; and a sister, Frances McDowell Decker.
Surviving is her daughter-in-law, Leslie McCrary, and granddaughter, Morgan McCrary of Cartersville.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Shepherd Funeral Home in Hendersonville, N.C.
