Sherri Elrod Moore

Sherri Elrod Moore, 53, of Cartersville, GA went home to be with her Savior Saturday, February 3, 2018. Sherri was born to the late Mr. Roland Elrod Sr. and Mrs. Mary Anne Smith Elrod in Rome, GA on February 5, 1964. Sheri lived most of her life in Rome, GA. She married Bruce Moore on November 4, 1992.

Sherri was a loving person. Her family and her dogs were the center of her life. She was a devoted mother of three children and enjoyed doting on her four grandchildren. She loved to spend time on the water, in Bruce's house boat or at the beach. Sherri's love for laughing and ability to make those she knew smile will be missed by all who knew her.

Sherri is preceded in death by her parents and nephew, Chris Elrod.

Sherri is survived by her husband of 25 years, William " Bruce" Moore, sons; Tory Holmes and Colton Moore, daughter; Kari Ellis (Jerimy), grandchildren; Kirsten Ellis, Ethan Ellis, Zachary Ellis, Noah Hood, Eli Hood, AJ Holmes and Blaiklee Holmes.

A funeral service for Sherri will be conducted at Cassville Baptist Church Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at eleven o'clock in the morning. Officiating will be Rev. Ron Cansler. Serving as pallbearers will be: Walt Pittman, Emmitt Reed, Ed Hardin, Mike Macintyre and Jerimy Ellis.Interment will follow the service at Kingston Cemetery, Kingston, GA.

The family will receive friends from nine o'clock in the morning until the service hour Tuesday,February 6, 2018 at Cassville Baptist Church.
