Steve Sproull Nelson

Steve graduated from Cartersville High School, Class of '77. He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to be in the great outdoors riding his motor cycle, and farming on his beloved tractor. He and his loving wife, Lori spent many weekends on his motor cycle exploring the backroads. When Steve wasn't outdoors, he loved spending time with his family, especially his two grandchildren.

Steve is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Glenda Nelson Holt.

He is survived by his wife of 8 years, Lori Nelson, son, Jason Nelson, daughter, Whitney (Joshua) Poston, grandchildren, Kylee and Lawson Poston. Other family members also survive to cherish Steve's memory.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at six o'clock in the evening.

The family will receive friends at Owen Funeral Home Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from four o'clock in the afternoon until the service hour.
