Susan Hale

Mrs. Hale was born March 31, 1958 in Valdosta, GA, daughter of Fred Bass and Emily Imogene Speer Bass.

Mrs. Hale was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved spending her spare time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Some of her fondest memories were vacationing to the beach with her husband of 12 years, Curtis Hale. She was an avid animal lover, who gave great care and attention to her three dogs, Bud, Blue and Sham. Susan had a special place in her heart for two of her favorite dogs, Shrek and Diamond. Susan also enjoyed spending time outdoors tending to her flower gardens. She was a member of Pine Log Methodist Church. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Mrs. Hale is preceded in death by her mother, Emily Bass.

Survivors include her father, Fred Bass of Thomasville, GA; husband, Curtis Hale of Rydal, GA; son, Caleb Kennedy of Thomasville, GA; sons and daughters-in-laws, Colby and Candice Brinson and Dylan and Haley Hale all of Cartersville, GA; Daughters and sons-in-laws, Danielle and Ryan Tucker of Taylorsville, GA and Deedra and Seth Wade of Euharlee, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Debbie Bass of Thomasville, GA; grandchildren, Emily and Kaylee Brinson, Carter Hale, Gabe, Cadyn and Sydlee Wade, and Mason, Maci and Marshall Tucker; several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held 6:00 PM, Thursday, August 8, 2013 in the Chapel of Owen Funeral Home with the Rev. Keith Willard officiating.

The family will receive friends 5:00 until 6:00 PM, Thursday, August 8, 2013 in the Chapel of Owen Funeral Home.

Other arrangements will be held from Allen and Allen Funeral Home in Thomasville, GA with visitation Friday, August 9, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 10, 2013 from First Baptist Church, Boston, GA. Interment will immediately follow from Boston Cemetery, Boston, GA.
