Terry Van Jones

Mr. Jones was born on November 3, 1941 in Cartersville, Georgia son of the late Mitchell Jones and Ruthelle Shope Jones. He was a retired Real Estate Broker and was a member of Sam Jones United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Eunice Nelson Jones; a daughter & son-in-law, Laura & Freeman Elliott; sons & daughters-in-law, Van & Andrea Jones, Jeff & Janae Jones; grandchildren, Madeline Elliott, John Elliott, Jacob Elliott, Hunter Jones, Harrison Jones, Elizabeth Jones, Abi Jones, Jackson Jones; a brother & sister-in-law, Hal & Patsy Jones; nephews, Patrick Jones and wife Tamara, Chase Jones.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon November 1st at 3:30 P.M. at Sam Jones United Methodist Church with Rev. Kevin Lobello, Dr. Tommy Green and Rev. Nena Jones officiating. Interment wwill follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:00 until 3:00 P.M. at Sam Jones United Methodist Church Annex.

Pallbearers include Dolph Nelson, Jim Slaughter, Joe Jolly, Ken Bishop, Jim Smith, Bill Davey. Honorary pallbearers include Dr. Zim Choate, Dr. John Cowan, Arthur Parker, Mile O’Connor.
