Terry Joe Morris II

Mr. Morris was born January 8, 1963 in Carmi, Illinois, the son of Ellen Thomas Morris and the late Terry Joe Morris and was employed at Georgia State University.

Surviving is his wife, Kathy Morris, sons, Joseph Terry Morris and Jonathan Richard Morris, granddaughter, Elizabeth Ann Morris, his mother, Ellen Morris, sister, Ericka Whittler, nephews, Alex and Jacob Webb, Zachary Whittler, brother in law, Richard Whybark (Stephanie), nephew, Holden Whybark, niece, Samantha Whybark, mother in law, Arlene Whybark, father in law, Larry and Patricia Whybark and his best friend, Mark Buchanan.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 20, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Jacobs officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. prior to the service.

A family graveside service will be held Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Richard Whybark, Mark Buchanan, Holden Whybark, Alex Webb, Jacob Webb, Zachary Whittler and Holden Whybark.

Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
