Wanda Culver Smith

Mrs. Smith was born February 14, 1953 in Calhoun, a daughter of Ernest and Ernestine Culver. Wanda was retired from AT&T, where she was employed as a technician. She was a 1971 graduate of Cass High School, and enjoyed trips to Cherokee, reading and loved her dog.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Jerome Smith, and is survived by two brothers, Kenneth Culver, of Cartersville and Andy Culver, of Decatur, a step son, Brent Smith, of Cartersville, and special caregivers, Denise Fuller and Mary Ann Sikorski.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 7, 2014, from the Chapel of the Owen Funeral Home, with Rev. Keith Guyton officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Hill cemetery.

Pallbearers will be John Phillips, George Snell, David Rickett, Brent Smith, Clyde and Don Garland.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Bartow County Humane Society.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. Thursday.
