Wayne Jacobs

Mr. Jerry "Wayne" Jacobs, 70, of Adairsville, Georgia passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2019. Wayne was born in Cartersville, GA on March 23, 1949 to the late Mr. Frank Coleman Jacobs and Mrs. Jennie Bagley Jacobs.

Wayne was a family man in every sense of the word. He was a devoted husband to his wife of many years, Lovonne Porter Jacobs. He loved his children and worked hard to make sure their needs were met. Later in life he loved being "Pa Pa" to his 11 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He will be truly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Mrs. Lovonne Porter Jacobs, son, Adam Jacobs, parents, and brother, Gary Jacobs.

He is survived by his children; son, Terry (Mary Ann) Jacobs, daughter, Kim (Joe King) Jacobs, Heather (Ricky Bryant) Jacobs, grandchildren; Jessie, Beth, T.J. and Nicholas Jacobs, Austin, Ashley Jarrell, Christopher and Alexis Jacobs, Zachary King, and Caleb and Mackenzie Bryant, 6 great grandchildren brothers; Harry (Bea) and Sammy (Karen) Jacobs, and sister; Ann (Leopold) Paradis.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at Owen Funeral Home Friday, March 29, 2019 at two o'clock in the afternoon with the Revs. Sanford Lawrence and Robert Earl Miller officiating. Interment will follow the service at Deliverance Chapel Cemetery, Kingston. Serving as pallbearers will be: Jamie, Greg, Nicholas, Jason, Jonathan and Christopher Jacobs, Zachary King, and Austin Jarrell.

The family will receive friends at Owen Funeral Home Thursday March 28, 2019 from five o'clock in the evening until nine.
