Willard Arrowood

Charles Willard Arrowood, age 78 of Cartersville, GA passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Athens, TN on September 8, 1942 to the late Charles W. Arrowood and Beulah Richeson Arrowood.

Willard is preceded in death by his brothers, Robert ‘Boby’ Arrowood, Jack Arrowood; sisters Faye Arrowood and Jo Frances Melton. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Libby Arrowood; daughters, Kim (Bill) Guest, Tracie (Ronnie) Roberts; grandchildren, Austin Guest and his fiancée Savanah, Brandon Guest, Allison Roberts, Andrew Roberts, Sister, Jackie (Carlos) Hammond, Judy (Jim) Bridges; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Willard was of the Baptist faith and a member of Oakland Heights Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Darryl Farr officiating. The Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens with Don Melton, Chris Chester, Larry Bledsoe, Lamar Farr, Bob Brolsma and Greg Wimpy serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
