

Mr. Johnson was born January 10, 1938 in Bartow County, Georgia, son of the late James C. Johnson and Mildred “Bessie” Griffin Johnson. He was a self-employed Electrician and boarded horses at Five Forks Stables. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patsy Johnson; brothers and sisters, Laura Mae Johnson, Wesley Johnson, Juanita Shephard, Leon Johnson, Jimmy Johnson; nieces and nephews, Lavada Johnson, Brenda, Bobby and Joe.
He was a loving, caring man. He loved his family and friends. He was a plain and simple man who loved being around people. He loved his horse farm. He had many faithful boarders at the farm that were all a part of his family and the boarders thought so much of him.
The family would like to thank the Five Forks Stables families who loved and cared for our Dad. For all the special things done for him, the food brought, and the friendship and love given him. Jayne, Denise, Grant, Katie, Rosa, Connie, Amanda, Eric Stewart, Sue Hamilton, and many, many, many more, including the workers and all involved over the years.
Survivors include his children, Johnny Johnson (Angie), Sherry Hatch (Christian), Jeff Johnson (fiancé` Emily King); grandchildren, William Ian Johnson, Ileigh Mary Margaret Johnson, Emily Grace Hatch, Max William Hatch; nieces and nephews, Kathy Bramlett (Michael), Faye Floyd, Jean Shephard, Marchelle Lowery, Gladys Hall, Junior Johnson, Casey Wells, Michael Johnson, Matt Johnson, Ruth Johnson; special friends, Joe McPherson, Paul Patterson, Tim Martin; and his loving dog, Yugo.
Memorial services will be conducted Sunday, February 28, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Five Forks Stables, 210 Crowe Springs Rd., Cartersville, GA.
