

William is preceded in death by his parents, William S. Little and Yvonne Eloise LeChasseur Little, sister and brother-in-law, Marylynn (Jack) Kirshner, brother-in-law, Randy Randall, stepson, Jonathan Walsh. He is survived by wife of 20 years, Deborah Little, son, William (Sandra) Little. Jr., stepchildren, Alecia Lombard, Amanda Wigmore, Jessica Walsh, step grandchildren, Veronyca Conrado, Nathan Holtz, sisters, Mary Ann Randall, Barbara (John) Lombardi and many nieces and nephews.
Bill enlisted in the Us Air Force when he was 21 years old. He served in Vietnam from 1967 to 1969 from active duty, and finished his Military Career in 1971 in Langley AFB, Virginia. Bill worked for Verizon for 34 years and as manager for 5 years.
He lived with his son Bill in Wareham for many years. He met his wife Deborah and moved to Martha’s Vineyard in 1999.
In 2005 he traveled to Biloxi Mississippi to assist the residents with the clean up after Hurricane Katrina after 90 days, he made many friends in the area during this time.
While residing on Martha’s Vineyard him and his wife operated SummerStone Bed & Breakfast from their home. He loved to cook, bake cookies for and share stories with his guests from all around the world. Being a member of Martha’s Vineyard Rotary Club was his passion. He was a Paul Harris Fellow Recipient & President for one year. He enjoyed raising money for charities and hosted a foreign exchange student from Italy.
He owned many businesses throughout his lifetime including a business called Father & Son Lawnmower services, a limousine service and a liquor store, while residing in Brockton, MA.
He played drums in his 8 piece Dixieland Band. He was an avid boater, loved fishing for bass & bluefish on Cape Cod waters. He also loved having parties on his boat and entertaining friends and family.
In 2019 Bill and his wife moved to Cartersville, GA with their 3 dogs, Lilly, Molly, and Faith. They then started their dream of having a farm called Green Acres.
Bill was an HO model train collector. Bill was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, he always sat on the right side. He was a devoted Husband and Father.
A Funeral Mass will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with Father. Kevin Hargaden officiating. The Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA with Air Force honors.
