Angelo Paul Vivelo Jr.

Angelo served in the Navy in World War II. He raised his family on Long Island New York and had a successful career as a Mechanical Engineer. He retired to Hawley, PA and then moved to Cary, NC 2004 to be near family. He served on finance committee of Heritage Pines and enjoyed Green Hope High School sports where is grandson played football. He enjoyed playing golf and listening to jazz.

He is survived by his wife Josephine Vivelo of 67 years; three sons: Angelo Vivelo, III and wife Amy, James Vivelo and wife Donna, Carl Vivelo and wife Sherry; one daughter Livia Bitner and husband Gary; his 100 year old brother Pasquale Vivelo and seven grandchildren: Michelle Cosaluzzo, Eric Vivelo, Lt. Paul Bitner USN, Michael Vivelo, Christina Jacob, Elizabeth Vivelo and Patrick Vivelo.

A Funeral Mass will be offered 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 21st, 2017 from St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. The family will greet friends from 4-7 PM Sunday, August 20th, 2017 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary.
