I remember Tony’s love of family, especially his wife Beverly. Tony had a tender heart of humility towards God and wanted to grow in his relationship with God. He loved drag racing as well! Praying for you Beverly and family and would remember the great and funny memories Tony left behind for our hearts!

So sorry to hear of Anthony's sudden passing.  We used to bowl together in Torrington back in the 1970's.  Always was a great kid with a big smile.

Beverly, from the moment we met I knew Tony had met his southern bell. You loved him as much as he love you. He was so good with your kids and he had grown so much being with you. When you guys had Chloe he was so happy and proud. 
When I met Tony we were all so young and he and Scott were very close friends. He would call In the middle of the night when he needed to get his truck pulled out of places he shouldn’t have been.  He would call with questions when he started living on his own. Questions like should I have eaten those chicken wings that were still pink? Or I think I over filled the water bed it is like a balloon. I will miss the midnight News Years Eve phone call wishing us a Happy New Year.  Tony, Ant or Anthony depending on the day was always there to help us when needed and we missed him when he made his big move down south. But, as it turned out it was the best thing for him. I included a picture of  him when he was in our wedding. 
I will remember the  phone call he and Scott had 2 days before the shocking phone I got the call from you 2 weeks ago. You have been so strong through all the decisions you had to make.

Tony & I were friends in high school. I last saw him at one of our high school class reunions. I remember Tony as a great person who was always happy. My sincere sympathy to his family at this very sad time. 

I grew up with Tony i lived on Clearview ave. I could see Tony's house from my front door. I was 6 years younger than Tony,my brother Paul ,Joe and Mike,to name a few. But what I remember the most about Tony was if " the older kids" weren't around Tony would hang with me. And for a little kid who wanted to fit in that was great. We would play match box cars and Tonka trucks in my back yard. That meant the world to me.   Sorry for your loss.

Beverly, I’m so sorry for your loss. I still remember meeting Tony when y’all drove all the way to Virginia Beach to take photos of our brand new twins. Todd and I loved our time together that weekend and enjoyed getting to know Tony. It was clear you two were a perfect fit and that he adored you. We enjoyed laughing together and he was so sweet the  way he helped you even when the twins were not cooperating. Thank you for that memory and know that we are praying for your family.


I will always remember your smile, and the many times at church, I would joke with you to get a bigger smile. You were always refreshing and kind. I’m happy to have known you, and your family.  Your wife Beverly has been special to me. God bless your soul!

I will always remember Tony for his smilie and his passion for life. I’ve known Tony and his Sisters Annette, Dawn, and Diane from our years of YMCA Leaders Club, Summer Swim classes and of course School. He was such a larger than life person always happy and a friend to everyone he met. These times of our youth will always be a part of who we became and I will hold these memories dearly and eternally. My condolences to Beverley and the children, Annette, Dawn Marie and all of the family. Tony was a Genuine person never pretentious, extremely kind and always making folks smile. Remember him this way and maybe it will be a less difficult time. Rest In Peace my Friend, until we meet again.

I can tell Tony was the kind of person you wanted to know in life if you ever had the chance. I met you both when I worked at QDR, when we helped rescue a stray cat and from my parents jewelry store at South Hills Mall - you are Salt of the Earth people. He was always very observant and witty. 
I respected how quick he was to handling a task and when you went looking for him he was always one step ahead of you. 
Seeing him and his family worshiping together is the model that we continue to follow.

 "Anthony" (as I knew him)...he and his sisters  were my next door neighbors. He and I (and Paul Beechner) were inseparable. We played backyard football together and walked down Clearview Ave to Ameco's field to play baseball. We had snowball fights....sometimes w/ Mr. Guerini who lived up the street and sometimes we'd hide in a snow fort until the UPS truck came by. Then we'd we'd stop pelting each other with snowballs to bombard the UPS truck before we'd resume wailing on each other. With all the Oak trees in my yard, naturally we had acorn fights (wow, those points really hurt). We played on the geodesic dome 'monkey bars' in my yard together most of the year and then in the winter we'd cover it w/ snow and hide inside the igloo together. We built forts in the woods behind our houses and spent hours at 'the brook' across the street. We hung out in the woods at 'the new road' (Birchwood Drive) as it was being developed. Those woods are also where we all smoked our first cigarette  & drank beers (not well hidden by the construction workers). Anthony and I were partners in many death defying activities just in front of our houses on Carroll Drive. We built plywood ramps and jumped our bikes. We had contests to see who could make the longest skid with our bikes by pedaling as fast as we could then locking up our back tires before skidding onto Clearview Ave. We built go-carts together and ran those down the road (only to realize that we'd failed to build a braking system...so we'd drive onto into my yard and wreck at the last minute...before running across Clearview Ave. We rode Flexible Flyer sleds down Carroll Dr. back in the days when you wouldn't see asphalt for days at a time after a snowfall. It's a miracle we survived childhood. Anthony was my neighbor and playmate and left an indelible mark on my life. I'm very sorry to hear of his passing and wish his surviving family peace. Rest in peace, Anthony Scaramuzza.

Our family were so blessed when we relocated here in 2011 and Tony and Beverly were one of the 1st neighbors and friends we met.  Tony was a one of a kind great man who was a loving and devoted husband and father and a true family man. He adored Beverly, Daniel, Abbey and his beautiful Chloe.  My husband enjoyed talking and laughing with Tony about hockey and we all enjoyed his unforgettable laugh and smile.  We loved being Tony's neighbor and blessed to call him a friend. We are so thankful that He knows the Lord and we look forward to seeing him again. May his memory live on in our hearts and minds. May God bless his family with comfort and peace until they meet him again in Heaven. With love in Jesus, Deren, Courtney, Noah, Joshua and Elise

 We have been lucky to have Tony as a neighbor for over 10 years.  He has always looked out for everyone in our cul de sac.  Tony was an honest and helpful neighbor and friend.  I have many fond memories of our 4th of July parties and other neighborhood gatherings, watching our kids grow up together and sharing the ups and downs of parenthood.  His devotion to Bev and the children was obvious and admirable.  Tony was a good man.  Love and condolances to Bev and the Scaramuzza family.

I know this temporary separation from Tony on this earth is hard and painful! Even though it is painful and hurts now, I would encourage you to keep your eye fixed on eternity, where we will have a great celebration and reunion in heaven. It will come quicker that we realize. The scriptures tell us our lives are but a vapor, and life on earth is short. That will be a great day to see your husband, father and our friend! It will be a great day of celebration and we will get to do it with you! We love you and will continue to pray for you in this season of hurting. Sweet Memories of our time together.
