She was born July 9, 1932 in Bronx, New York. Barbara (Bobby) was married to Guy C. Ligon Jr. for 63 years. She graduated from Pawling, NY high school and was a member of the class of 1954 at Saint Rose College, Albany, NY.
She is survived by her husband Guy C. Ligon Jr., daughters Michele Snyder (Robert), Marie Murphy (Glen), Constance Riva (Kenneth), and son Guy C. Ligon III (Cynthia) and grandchildren: Christian and Adam Riva; Kiki, Brianne and Glen Thomas Murphy.
Bobby and Guy moved to Cary, NC in 1979. Bobby worked part time at Cary Parks and Recreation, and NC State University. She also was a long time loyal volunteer at St. Michael the Archangel Church.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday, June 8th, 11:00 am at St. Michael the Archangel Church, High House Rd, Cary.
