She was born December 3, 1930 in Bridgeport, CT a daughter of Joseph and Rose Dziczek Maciora. She married Joseph Niedzwiecki on September 4, 1950.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 64 years, Joseph Niedzwiecki; two daughters, Donna (Betrand Schlam) Niedzwiecki of Cary and Debra (David) Cowell of Las Vegas, NV; one sister, Stephanie Palladino of South Norwalk, CT; five grandchildren, Carrie, Brian, Elizabeth, Joe, and Emma; and one great grandchild, Robert.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Mary Niedzwiecki and Helen Lysak.
Bertha was of Catholic faith. She and Joseph were former members of St. Michael’s and St. Augustine Cathedral Parish of Bridgeport.
