Carolyn Gross Edgerton, 89, of Cary, NC, died Friday, April 20, 2012 at her home. She was born in Charleston, SC, on October 16, 1922. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Cary for 62 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Edgerton.
She is survived by sons, Bob and wife, Ann, and Steve and wife, Nancy; daughter, Carole Dunic and husband, Ron; grandchildren, Cregg, Ragan, Jeff, Brian, Michael, Matthew and Mason; 4 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Trudy Edgerton; and “daughter”, Kathy Saunders. She is also survived by her faithful companion of 15 years, Queenie.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, April 23, 2012 at Carolyn’s home.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Montlawn Memorial Park, 2911 South Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC.
