Darlyne Hagen Larson

October 3, 1932 – September 28, 2011

Darlyne Hagen Larson, 78, died at Rex Hospital, Wednesday, September 28, 2011. She was born October 3, 1932 in Cloquet, MN to the late Maurice T. and Gladys R. Hagen. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and she was an active member of Western Boulevard Presbyterian Church for over 50 years. She was well-known for her home-made cookies and hand-made neckties. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Roy A. Larson and her brother, Maurice T. Hagen, Jr.

Survivors include her children: Alan Roy Larson (Anisa) of Clayton; Jeffrey S. Larson of Burke, VA; Linda Larson Stone (Tracy) of Fuquay Varina; and Brian T. Larson (Shannon) of Victorville, CA; nine grandchildren, Lee Chatham (Katie), Bradley LaGois, Alex Stone, Forrest Larson, Shelby Larson, Elliott Larson, Olivia Larson, Erin Stone and Darcy Larson; her brother and sister-in-law, Robert R. and Helen Hagen of Cataula, GA and several nephews and nieces.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Friday, September 30, 2011 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 11 AM at Western Boulevard Presbyterian Church in Raleigh with burial at Brier Creek Memorial Gardens.
