Dorothy Beard

She was predeceased by her husband, Rev. A. Howard Beard, in 2005.

She is survived by her daughter, Miriam Beard Weidner and her husband Paul; her son Greg Beard; her granddaughter Sarah Beard Stokes and her husband Adam; and three great grandchildren.

A Service of Remembrance in celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2019, at Greenwood Forest Baptist Church, 110 SE Maynard Road, Cary, NC. Visitation will be at 1:00 followed by a service at 2:00. Burial will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park, 7501 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh, NC.

Memorial gifts may be given to The Shepherd’s Table (a ministry of The Church of The Good Shepherd, 121 Hillsborough St, Raleigh, NC 27603) or to Dorcas Ministries Food Pantry, 187 High House Rd, Cary, NC 27511.
