Edward Francis Cook, 81, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 in Raleigh, NC. He was born on March 7, 1931 in Albany, NY to Edward Vincent and Francetta Passwaters Cook. He was raised in Rensselaer, NY and lived in the Nassau area. He retired from Prudential Insurance after 36 years of service. After retiring, he moved to Arizona and just recently moved to Apex, NC.
He was the husband of Jane Mansfield Cook; father to Edward J. Cook, Nancy Edwards and husband, Ross, and Barbara Pisano and husband, Al; grandfather to Ross R. Edwards and April, Kayla, Joseph and Richard Pisano; and brother to Carol Bohley and husband, Fred and Isabelle Dahl and husband, Bob.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 S.E. Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
