Ethel May Arthur, "Teck", of Cary, NC, joined our Lord on November 20, 2013. Born in Annapolis, MD, on April 30, 1925 as one of 11 children, she met and married her loving husband of 44 years, F. Wayne Arthur in 1941.
Teck was preceded in death by her husband and 10 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sister Betty Jean Cornelius of Annapolis, MD, sons Robert Arthur and wife Debbie of Princeton, NC, and Richard Arthur and wife Chanin of Beavercreek, OH, and daughter Karen Arthur DuFour and son-in-law Laurence of Cary, grandchildren Ashley, Lorrie, Kevin, Dave and Jason and his wife Suzie, great-grandchildren Jessica, Matthew, Samuel, Joshua.
Ethel was active in her church circle, loved bowling, playing cards with family, and embroidering beautiful tablecloths.
A graveside service will be held in Dayton, OH at Historic Woodland Cemetery on November 29 at 11 AM. Donations may be made to Methodist Children’s Home in Raleigh, or Susan G. Komen Fund.
