Gary Victor Lopes, 70, of Raleigh, North Carolina, passed away on March 18th. Gary was preceded in death by his father Jack Lopes. He is survived by his son and daughter Corey and Deanna, his loving mother Elena, brother Gregory, and grandchildren Lily, Hunter and Gia. He is also survived by and will be sorely missed by many, many, friends and extended family members. The values he instilled in his children will live on through them, which include loyalty, hard work, love and kindness.
Gary never met a stranger and was known for his outgoing personality and ability to befriend all those who were fortunate enough to encounter him. He had a great sense of humor, loved good food, good music and above all, the company of friends and family. Gary wore his heart on his sleeve, and never missed a chance to tell a friend or loved one how he felt about them.
A funeral service will be held in his honor at 11:00AM on Thursday, March 30th 2023 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Cary, North Carolina. Live streaming will be available.
