Glenn was born on November 19, 1932 in Gary, IN. He attended Purdue University and Valparaiso Technical Institute. In his life Glenn had worked at US Steel and for the Virginia State Police. He enjoyed amateur radio and in later years, working in a local movie theater.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Russell and Mabel (Nimitz) Pittenger.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth (Caudell) Pittenger; his son, Bryan and his wife, Claudia and their daughters, Corinna and Bethany of Roanoke, VA; his son, Keith and his wife, Denise and their daughter, Emma of Raleigh, NC; and his twin sister, Delores Welch; and his sister, Loretta Pittenger.
His funeral will be held on Saturday, April 30th at 1:00 pm at the Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 Southeast Maynard Road Cary, NC 27511.
