

He graduated from Wakefield High School in Raleigh in 2005 and went on to attend Cape Fear Community College from 2005-2008 then transferred to the University of North Carolina in Wilmington, NC from 2008-2010 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration through the Cameron School of Business. His concentration was marketing and graduated with with a 3.6 GPA.
Harrison was a member of Mu Kappa Marketing Honor Society, on the Dean’s List (UNCW) each semester from fall 2008-Spring 2010. Also, while attending Cape Fear Dean’s List - Spring 2008 while maintains a GPA 3.57.
Harrison was a member of the YMCA Y Guides program (Indian Guides) which focuses on strengthening and bonding father & son which formed memories that stayed with Harrison all through his life. Guides enabled him to participate in various larger events throughout the year such as Fall Outing at Camp Kanata, in Wake Forest, NC, Spring Outing weekends at Camp Sea Gull and Seafarer in Arapaho’s, NC. These were very special times for Harrison and his father. He volunteered at the Boys Club,YMCA and helped his Mom during the summers when she was a volunteer with Meals on Wheels.
Harrison started playing T-Ball at Wilder’s Grove and continue to play even through High School on traveling teams. Through the same organization he also played a season of basketball and football. He was an avid UNC Tar Heel fan and loved the game and could read you stats and talk sports all day. He also, at a very young age learned how to fish, which also became his passion. A college graduation gift of a kayak from his grandparents helped him pursue his love and with friends who also loved fishing they would enter fishing tournaments or just all day on the lake, pond or ocean. He found fishing to be a way to be closer to nature and to relax and bond with his fishing buddies.
Harrison was a Christian and was baptized at Green Pines Church in Knightdale, NC and was currently attending Point Church in North Raleigh. Harrison loved his family and his friends were very important to Harrison, those friendships have continued to grow stronger all these years. His friends are truly missing Harrison. Harrison was a funny, sweet, smart, patient & well round man who loved to laugh, and had a smile that was genuine just like his heart. He was loved and will be missed by everyone who knew him. He is now with his grandmother in heaven who just passed on March 1st of this year.
Harrison is survived by his mother Jennifer S George, and Step-Father Steve George of Raleigh, NC. He is also survived by his “love of his life” Jessica Ann Veltrie of Raleigh,NC. His paternal grandmother Anita Zellers of Fayetteville, NC, His grandfather Jerry E. Allen of Sanford, NC. Also, his aunts, Kimberly and husband Keith Lunsford, Cynthia and Tim Holt both of Sanford, NC and several cousins and great aunts and uncles in various states.
