

Helen C. Montano, 91, of Cary, NC, formerly a 66 year resident of Eatontown, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 13, 2016. Helen was born in Ridgefield Park, NJ to Antonio and Concetta (Bann) Cincotta. She was employed as a pricing specialist at Electronic Associates in West Long Branch, NJ, retiring in 1985 after 34 years of service. She was a graduate of Ridgefield Park High School and Melville Aeronautical Radio School, was a member of AARP, NARFE (National Assoc. of Retired Federal Employees) Chapter 411, where she was the social and senior citizen coordinator, member of the Eatontown Advisory Board for Senior Center, a member of the Council on Aging, Disabilities and Veterans and a very active former communicant of St. Dorothea’s RC Church in Eatontown, NJ where she participated in the Bereavement Group and the Lazarus Society.
Helen is predeceased by her parents, brothers, John, Anthony and Frank Cincotta, sisters, Jenny and Dorothy, and in 1996 by her beloved husband, Frank Montano.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Susan M. and Richard J. Duhon of Cary, NC, grandsons; Jamie and wife Jacquie of Garner, NC and Ryan and wife Theresa of Raleigh, NC, great-granddaughters; Kira, Jaelyn, great-grandsons, Mateo, Jordan and Cannon as well as, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held 6-8pm Friday, December 16, 2016 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 SE Maynard Rd, Cary, NC 27511 with prayer service at 6pm.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
