 We are saddened  to receive news of Jack's passing. I worked with Jack during our days at  AT&T Network Systems. He was a true professional in Labor Relations who approached all with respect and humor.  He was valued and respected by both labor unions and management. He loved his wife Jan and his family. God Bless Jack, Jan and the family. Our thoughts and prayers are them them.

Jack was a beloved member of the Crooked Creek Community here in the Fuquay-Varina area. Betty and I always looked forward to seeing Jack at Homeowners Assoc. meetings, as well as numerous South Wake Park Project meetings, both local planning meetings and meetings with the Wake County Board of Commissioners. All of this work finally resulted in converting the former Crooked Creek Golf Course property into the Hilltop Needmore Town Park and Preserve. The Town of Fuquay Varina is hosting a ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremony for the park on February 8, 2020, at 2:30 PM.  I'm really sad that Jack won't be here for the opening. He was always a fervent supporter  of this work. He will be sorely missed, along with his beloved Jan. 

When most of us hear of the passing of a family member, friend, neighbor or work associate, we take some time to reflect on our relationship with that person. When Jeff shared the news of Jack's passing with me, my first reaction was one of surprise and sadness. Once I had an opportunity to truly remember Jack, my thoughts were of a consummate gentleman,  and a true professional. Since our relationship was work associated, I regularly relied on Jack's advice and counsel...and he never let me down.
He will be missed and my thoughts and prayers are with him, Jan and the entire family.

Just wanted to send my condolences to all of you for your great loss.
As my sister Dot said we,  and my daughters, really enjoyed our visit last year.  I'm so happy we got to do that.
So sorry we can't be with you for the services but we will keep you  in our prayers.

Jack supported field labor relations for the Services Division, of the former Western Electric/ AT&T Network Systems/ Lucent Technologies.  He was excellent to work with in every aspect and always demonstrated great character and values.  Leroy Woodard,  Jim Longhenry, Bill Fish and I at the former Indiana Service Center/ Customer Information Center could always call on Jack and be confident he would provide excellent support within the bounds of our Labor Relations environment. He was respected by all sides. My wife Linda and I extend our heartfelt prayers for his surviving family members.

My boyfriend, Jon and I met Jack at the American Legion a couple years ago. We just heard of his passing this morning and are brokenhearted. We considered Jack a good friend and will definitely miss his company and conversation. Your family is in our heart and prayers at this very difficult time. 

I am so sorry to hear about Jack's passing.   He was a very sweet customer of mine for years before I retired in April.   His love for his family, most especially his wife was so very endearing.   He loved to share stories of the lakehouse, golf, his children and grandchildren. 
 He also made each day so special.   He was so very particular about his hair too!  It was an honor for me to know such a man who loved his family, was very involved in community and loved life.   RIP 

We are so sad to learn of Jack's passing. He always seemed kind and will surely be missed by many. Our condolences to the family.

So sorry for the loss of  your Dad and Grandpa.  I know how proud he was of all of you.   I'm so happy we {Dot and Peg cousins and Peg's daughters Debbie and Laurie} got to visit with him,  in his  beautiful home, on our way to Florida last year.   He was so happy we stopped and made us feel so comfortable.  Sorry we missed getting to see all of you.  We had such a nice visit.   I will miss his emails,  I always enjoyed them.  Wish I could be there to say goodbye and give you all a hug.  I'll be thinking  of  you and  keeping you and Jack in my prayers.  Though our hearts are heavy we know he is with Jan in God's Care.
